Judy Stafford, who has a fantastic Instagram account filled with inspiration for the home @cobblestone_and_wells, has a beautiful rural home, which is the envy of her Instagram followers. Set in the idyllic Cheshire countryside, the cobblestone building has everything from beams to its very own well. The views from her home are simply stunning too.
Judy came to us to help her transform her guest bedroom. She wanted to create more bedroom storage, for her clothes and accessories, and to install fitted furniture that would be in keeping with the property’s look and feel.
As with lots of older rural properties, a slightly awkward beam intruded on the space where the wardrobes would be – creating a design challenge for the team. But our fitted furniture is ideal for this type of room and period property as we can design around almost all types of space.

Our design team created a seamless fitted furniture design, working around the beam to create a bespoke fitted wardrobe that would maximise the space in the room.
Taking into account Judy’s storage needs, the finished wardrobe featured our intelligent storage solutions, including a central vanity unit with lighting and mirrors to create the illusion of space and bounce light around the room.
Full length mirrors on the inside of the wardrobe doors also added to the streamlined, uncluttered finish. Ample storage for Judy’s shoes and handbags was also built into the design.
After visiting our showroom and looking at lots of different design options – from modern to traditional, Judy chose our Elle doors.
The shaker design complemented the property’s traditional features, whilst the clean lines worked perfectly with her chic styling which brings together classic influences with a neutral colour palette and finishes.
Our Elle door design is available in a wide choice of colours and is undoubtedly one of our most popular products, and looking at Judy’s beautiful room it’s easy to see why!
